AI strategy & roadmaps
Identify the use cases worth the money, prioritize them, and build an adoption plan your team can actually execute.
Fractional AI leadership
For founders who need real AI expertise in the room but cannot justify a full-time AI salary. We decide where AI belongs in your business, design systems that hold up, and keep implementation honest — part-time, at a fraction of the cost.
What this is
A founder running the business does not have time to become an AI expert, and the company is not big enough to hire one. That gap is where bad vendor decisions and half-finished pilots come from.
We fill it. One person who understands both the technology and your P&L, who can say no to the wrong projects and get the right ones built — from the first opportunity assessment through delivery. Where you want it, Kilvington Digital's own implementation team does the building.
What we lead
Identify the use cases worth the money, prioritize them, and build an adoption plan your team can actually execute.
Design the agents, retrieval systems, integrations, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints — before anyone writes code.
Guide your developers and vendors from requirements through testing and deployment. Someone accountable for it working.
Approval checkpoints, data-handling boundaries, auditability, and operational controls, written down and enforced.
How engagements work
Three ways to engage
General IT infrastructure management and hardware support are outside this offering. We work alongside your IT provider.
A focused, fixed-scope review that ends in a written roadmap. Good first step when you are not sure what AI should do for you.
A standing monthly engagement. We own AI strategy and architecture decisions and sit in the room when vendors and developers make promises.
Scoped to one build. We design it, your team or ours builds it, we review it before it ships.
Built on hands-on experience
Retrieval-augmented AI systems. Agent-driven business workflows. Browser-based integrations for platforms with no usable API. Two SaaS products of our own. Flight software for an agricultural drone.
Ricky Whittaker, founder of Kilvington Digital, works directly with business leaders on AI strategy, technical decisions, and delivery oversight — backed by the same team that builds our automation and agent work.

You get a senior AI strategy and architecture lead for a fraction of the time, and a fraction of the cost, of a full-time hire. The work is the same — deciding where AI belongs, designing systems that hold up, and keeping implementation honest — without the salary of a full-time AI expert attached.
Agentic AI is us building and running specific agents for you. Fractional AI leadership is us deciding what should be built, designing it, and overseeing whoever builds it — which can be our team, yours, or a vendor. Many clients start with leadership and have us build the first pieces.
Founders. Specifically, founders who know AI matters to their business, do not have the time to become the expert themselves, and cannot justify a full-time AI salary. You get a technical partner who answers to you and your P&L, not to a product someone is selling you.
No. General IT infrastructure management and hardware support are outside this offering. We work with your IT provider; we do not replace them.
Hands-on, not slide-deck. Our own work includes retrieval-augmented AI systems, agent-driven business workflows, browser-based integrations for platforms with no usable API, two SaaS products, and flight software for an agricultural drone platform. Ricky Whittaker, the founder, leads every engagement directly.
Scoped per engagement after a short conversation. An assessment is a fixed fee; ongoing leadership is a flat monthly retainer; project advisory is priced to the build. We do not publish rates, and we will tell you up front if the engagement is not worth it for your situation.
Next step
One conversation about where AI could matter in your business. If an engagement makes sense, we scope it. If it does not, we say so.
